Félix Tshisekedi a accordé une mesure de grâce à Marcel Malanga Malu, ressortissant américain condamné à mort dans le cadre de la tentative de coup d’État du 19 mai 2024.
Aux termes de l’ordonnance n°25/183 du 28 mars 2025, rendue publique ce mercredi, la peine capitale prononcée à l’encontre de M. Malanga a été commuée en servitude pénale à perpétuité.
Ce dernier avait été condamné le 27 janvier 2025 par la Cour militaire de Kinshasa/Gombe.
Fils de Christian Malanga, présenté comme le chef du groupe accusé d’avoir voulu renverser les institutions, Marcel Malanga figurait parmi les 37 personnes condamnées à la peine de mort à l’issue du procès tenu en audience foraine à la prison militaire de Ndolo.
L’article 2 de l’ordonnance précise que le ministre d’État, ministre de la Justice et garde des Sceaux, est chargé de l’exécution de cette mesure, qui produit ses effets à la date de sa signature.

Le cabinet de la Première ministre a annoncé l’ouverture d’une enquête par la justice militaire suite au décès du brigadier de première classe Fiston Kabeya Senda, affecté à la Police de Circulation Routière (PCR).
