Consultations: A former presidential candidate agrees to work with Tshisekedi

Kinshasa, April 2nd, 2025 (CPA) – The political player and unsuccessful candidate in the last presidential election, Théodore Ngoy, has agreed to work with Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi in the search for solutions to bring peace to the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), on the sixth day of the Political Consultations in Kinshasa.
‘Nangaa cannot tell us that he is the solution to the Congolese problem.
Théodore Ngoy also condemned the awarding of ministerial and other posts as ‘war bonuses’.
In his inaugural speech in January 2024 at the Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte, President Félix Tshisekedi said he was prepared to involve the DRC’s political opposition in the running of the country during his second term.
With this in mind, Félix Tshisekedi is already working with a former candidate for President of the Republic in the Suminwa government, in the person of Constant Mutamba, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals.ACP/
