– The ‘MARSS-FBC’ project on the revenge of the soil on the subsoil was initiated by an agricultural expert with the aim of reinventing the agricultural economy and guaranteeing the financial security of State agents and civil servants in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the CPA learnt on Thursday in an interview.
‘The MARSS-FBC project ‘Materializing the revenge of the soil on the subsoil: an economic benefit factor for state employees and civil servants, is an innovative solution for retired civil servants, who are often faced with economic uncertainty’, said Jean-Fidèle Mboyo, initiator of the MARSS-FBC project and agricultural expert.
According to the initiator, civil servants will use the project to retrain in an agro-pastoral approach to create sustainable sources of income to guarantee their future lives as retirees.
The project will also provide strategies for innovative irrigation systems, bioenergy, an entrepreneurial approach, as well as training and expert support, added Jean-Fidèle Mboyo.
With regard to the marketing of the project’s products, he indicated that partnerships will be established with local, national, regional and international markets, and that distribution will take place to points of sale, concluded the project initiator.
